The numbers listed are modem numbers in those towns, so they may not look like local numbers.

Before you use any dial-up number for any Internet Service (not just ours), we recommend that you verify that the number in question would be a local call for you and in accordance with your contract with your phone company.

The easiest way to verify that a number is a local call is to pick up your telephone and dial the number WITHOUT the 1 or the area code. If you get a high pitched tone, you know it will work for you. If you get a message saying it cannot be completed as dialed or you get a busy signal, you know it will not work for you.
